Students In World Civ 1 Honors Class Participate In Fun Project! Students in our World Civilizations 1 Honors Class participated in a creative and fun project this semester! They were divided into groups, and had to remix a popular song to explain more about a specific Ancient River Civilization - complete with a video project and slideshow presentation! One group performed a song about The Yellow River Civilization to "September" by Earth, Wind, & Fire!

MSM Serve Club Gives Back With Help From Alumnae! MSM's Serve Club took on a special project to help those in need as we prepare for the Holiday Season. Kindness Kits is a program used in schools to promote kindness and empathy development and enhance children's capacity to care about others. Through this program, our Serve Club made Blessing Bags to pass out to the homeless population in Buffalo. Thank you to Lily Golba '20 for coming in to help our students!

MSM Marching Band Is Featured On WGRZ - Channel 2 News! Our incredible Mount St. Mary Academy Marching Band is celebrating their 22nd Anniversary this Fall! MSM Senior Lily Cook ’25 is named 2025 National Merit Commended Scholar! Mount St. Mary Academy is honored to announce that Lily Cook ’25 has been named a Commended Student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program! Lily is a very hardworking student, and admired by both her classmates and faculty. This year, she is taking on multiple leadership roles such as Captain of the MSM Thunder Varsity Soccer Team, Senior Class President, and Vice-President of the National Honor Society. Mounties Participate In Summer Camps as Suncliff On The Lake! We at MSM are so proud of the following students for their participation in the Suncliff On The Lake Jazz Camp – part of their 2024 Fine Arts Summer Programs: Lila Held-Hulsing ’26 Kaitlin Johnston ’25 Nia King ’25 Bridget Ludwig ’26 In this program, our students studied an intensive curriculum all about music and fine arts, concluding with a performance for their families and friends. We can’t wait to see the amazing things these Mounties will bring to our MSM Fine Arts Department this new school year! The following week, students from MSM participated in Suncliff On The Lake’s Creative Writing and Storytelling Camp: Kenley Martin ’27 Kendyll Stadelmeier ’27 Bailey Keppel ’26 During this camp, students explored the history and theory behind traditional story structure, and wrote their own pieces based on their newly acquired knowledge.
